I have been pastor at Grace Lutheran since August 1^st of 2003.  Prior to coming to Grace, I served five years in Intentional Interim Ministry in Iowa and Minnesota, after serving seventeen years in a parish in North Dakota and five years in a parish near Detroit Lakes.

 My favorite Bible verse in from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, chapter 2, verse 8.  “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God.”

 My favorite memory can’t be held to just one, but a number of memories, depending on my mood or situation.  However, one is from childhood.  I am driving a tractor and wagon in from the hayfield as evening is coming on, knowing that we had completed not just the work for the day but also finished the field. The sun’s ray are softening, giving a sense of rest and harmony to me as I looked at the fields, trees and farmyard buildings.
